Live Resin Liquid Diamonds + HTE: What’s Inside the New 5G Experience?

Not all vape oil is created the same.

For our latest Buddaflies 5G vapes, we wanted to move beyond the standard distillate formula and build an experience centered around two things: potency and terpene-forward flavor. The result is a combination of Live Resin Liquid Diamonds and High Terpene Extract (HTE), paired with the digital GRIDBAR AIO platform.

But what exactly does all of that mean?

Let’s break it down.

First: What Are Liquid Diamonds?

Liquid diamonds start with highly refined cannabinoid-rich crystalline material—commonly associated with THCA diamonds—which is processed into a form that can be blended with a terpene-rich fraction for use in vape formulations.

Traditional cannabis diamonds are solid crystals. Liquid diamonds take that highly refined cannabinoid component and turn it into a vape-compatible concentrate, creating a clean foundation that can be paired with a more aromatic extract.

That gives liquid-diamond formulations their two-part approach:

Where Does Live Resin Come In?

Live resin is all about preservation.

Unlike concentrates produced from traditionally dried and cured flower, live resin begins with cannabis that is typically fresh-frozen shortly after harvest. The goal is to preserve more of the volatile compounds present in the plant before they can be lost during drying and curing.

That includes the terpenes responsible for much of the plant’s aroma.

The result can be a concentrate with a much more expressive flavor profile than highly refined THC distillate alone.

That’s why the word “live” matters.
